Urchin, a service recently acquired by Google, has now been made free and renamed to Google Analytics. The service is currently undergoing some maintenance, but I managed to squeeze my registration in before it was closed off (after having to disable the stylesheet and other tricks to get through problems with the registration pages). I can't yet see any of the data, but it should probably be open soon.

This is a very logical step for Google, and I was just talking yesterday in IRC about how Google would probably make Urchin free sometime soon.
