Google has enhanced their personalized homepage feature, now including many more sections you can add. One of the big anticipated features is newsfeed support. You can add newsfeeds from any website onto the Google homepage.

There have been a few reports that the system doesn't work in Firefox, but it seems to work fine for me (although it doesn't have the neat scrolling effect, which shouldn't be hard to add). It also works in Opera, and works wonderfully in Konqueror (and I assume Safari).
