The Book Arrived
A while ago, a French company that makes web design related books contacted me, asking if they could use a translated version of my web browser standards support page in an upcoming CSS book. They didn't offer to pay me anything (which is just as well, since I didn't and don't consider the document complete enough to accept money for it), but they said they'd send me a free copy of the book in the mail.
And it just arrived. I must say, I'm happy with it. My content spans 20 pages with apparently well-done reformatting, and I'm credited nicely by itself on one of the first few pages of the book: Remerciements particuliers à David Hammond pour son comparatif de conformité des navigateurs web (en annexe).
You can get more information about the book, read some sample sections (including all of my contributed section), and buy the book here: CSS 2 - Pratique du design web. Now if only I spoke French, I could actually read it...
