I've been looking for a good meta data profile to sum up all of the various link types and meta properties that are de facto standards, but couldn't find one that had everything, so I went ahead and made my own. The General Meta Data Profile is a profile that may put into the profile attribute of the head element in a webpage so that you'll be able to use link types like icon, license, nofollow, parent, and prefetch, and meta properties like author, description, generator, keywords, and modified. Other link types and meta properties are included as well.
