I wrote a little PHP script that reads through my website's log files and generates this graph of unique visitors. It's funny how the visitor count appears to have suddenly shot up on 2005-01-31. I think this was when I started actually opening it up to the Internet. Before that, all hits to my system were recorded as being from one of two IP addresses: my own computer, or the gateway that I used to use.

The script keeps a daily cache to cut down on server load and speed things up, but the initial graph generation is pretty slow. I might try to improve the performance in the future (but probably not).
