So far this semester I've managed to stay well while everyone around me fell to the cold or the flu, but I just today got what I guess is the flu, and it hit hard. Last night I was fine, with just a slightly scratchy throat. This morning I wake up and, well, I'm not fine. My brain feels like it's desperately trying to escape from my head, my nose feels like it has grown three sizes in order to increase liquid exodus efficiency, and my arms and legs feel like spaghetti crawling with little steamy aphids. So I decided to stay home today, which will probably come back to haunt me, since this is a chemistry lecture day. Now I'm off to bed.
