For a few reasons that I won't get into right now, my older brother (whose computer my Internet connection goes through) doesn't allow me to use filesharing programs. That's kind of a bummer when I would like to check out some anime titles I'm considering buying. So someone online has been nice enough to help me get them by grabbing the files first and then allowing me to download them from him via HTTP. This is how I got All-Purpose Cultural Cat Girl Nuku Nuku and how I'm getting the next six episodes of Fruits Basket.

So far I have episodes seven and eight downloaded, and I'm working on the rest at 25 kb/s (which appears to be his maximum upload speed). Although I wasn't particularly fond of episodes six and seven — I thought that some scenes didn't really make sense, possibly not translated as smoothly as they could have been — episode seven seemed to be an improvement.

I'll write a more in-depth review once I've seen the remainder of the six episodes.
