What's Up Lately
I'm sure my millions of microreaders are just eager to know what kind of non-Google things are going on in my incredibly fascinating life.
First off, I'm planning on scrapping my current work on WebXPadmin — a PHP/HTML/CSS/Javascript recreation of the Windows XP native file explorer with lots of added features, intended to be a website administration system — and rewriting it from scratch, to increase performance, flexibility, and to give the code a more standard form. Rather than using my own XML format for the menu descriptions, for example, I will use the same format that is used in Mozilla. The code will also be done in a manner that makes it easy to reuse the same code for different purposes, rather than have a different set of code for each different folder view and application, etc.
In other news, my dad is coming back down here and I'm going to spend the day with him and my grandpa. This time for real. In fact, he should be here in about half an hour, so I had better get ready. We're probably going to visit an all-you-can-eat buffet (which my grandpa loves) for lunch, and then take a walk by the lake. It'll be nice.
